# Quick Start

For a quick start guide the Battery Asset Tracker is a simple to use and easy to understand tool that can be utilized on the first screen you see when logging in.

## Inventory Page

The Inventory Page is the main page of the Asset Tracker where one can view all batteries at any point. You can view cycle counts, battery health, location of a battery, and any other custom fields you would want to know about a battery all in one location.

#### Side Bar Menu

The side bar menu is an easy to understand filter list that shows what you want to see on the graph as well as the Quick View section at the bottom half of the screen. It is important to note that the "Views" you create and assign are not locked in place, but are instead default filters that you select when clicking on views.

#### Main Graph and Map

The graph and map you see at the top are self explanatory. The graph shows information related to the battery view you have selected, if you change the view you change what you see on the graph. The graph also has a bottom bar right under the X axis that allows you to "shorten" the X axis and remove unneeded or non-important information tied to the X axis. An example of how this would work is if you have 8 airframe types showing on the X axis you can shorten that down to 1 specific type that you're searching for.

The map also shows the locations you have created as well as interactively allow you to click on a location to change the Quick View at the bottom (and thus the graph as well) to show only the batteries at that location.

#### Quick View

The Quick View is a way to quickly swap between different filters you have for different batteries, battery models, or airframe types. If you have a specific air frame that you want to view the batteries of you can create a view that shows only those batteries tied to that air frame in your organization.
