# Manage Airframes

Airframes is how the bulk of your batteries will be organized under the Asset Tracker. If you don't have an airframe for a battery it will automatically be put under a "null" option in the Inventory Page with an unassigned airframe. When creating an airframe it is important to note how many batteries are required for a typical flight as that is a value used to help track and manage battery inventories in regard to creating operations in the calendar.

To create a new airframe or to edit an existing one see below:

* Start by clicking the green button in the top right and filling in a name for the airframe you want to add.
* Once added you need to add a battery model to the airframe, then select how many batteries that model requires.
* When editing airframes you will get the same menu that you saw when creating a new airframe to edit and save from.
