# Manage Battery Models
Managing battery models will all be done on this settings page. When making a new battery model you'll notice that the required fields are only the bare minimum needed in order to charge a battery in a smart charger. All the other inputs are secondary to this functionality with the Asset Tracker. However, in order to keep stuff more organized and concise it is recommended to input all known information about a battery here so that it can be used for quick reference later on if needed.
If needed this settings page also allows you to edit current battery models and delete them. When editing models it will display the exact same popup that was given when first entering in that battery model into the Asset Tracker.
