# Manage Views

In this settings page as the user you're more easily able to edit and add Views to your Quick View screen on the Inventory Page. Here you can create new views with the same process as before and now you can edit the name of the view, the columns that show up in that view, the filters that the view switches to when focused, and you can of course delete views at this page.

## Creating a New View

When creating a view you can create them in either the Inventory Page using the Quick View tabs or you can make them here. It is much easier to make them here as you then have a more clear and concise understanding of what views you currently have and you have the ability to quickly change the view if you input something wrong by accident. The process for making new views is as follows:

* Click the “Create New View” button and a popup will populate. Name the view you are looking to make and click “Next”.
* Scroll through and select any columns you’d like to add to the view page. If the column is added but that data field is empty when inputting a battery into the system then it will remain blank on the Quick View tab in the Inventory Page.
* When adding columns you can then order them on the right side. From the top down it organizes left to right. So if you want a value front and center on the left side and always showing when first looking at this view then put that column at the top of this list.
* The last section is what filters you want active when using this view. The first filter is the type of graph you want to see whether it is state of health, age of the battery in the system, max capacity, or cycle counts. If you only want a specific airframe visible then be sure to only select that one and the battery types that that airframe can use.
* As well you can select the location to be set to only one specific location or all locations that these batteries could be located in.
* And last is the slider bars showing if you want to view only the most recently used batteries or no time constraints. Then state of health and total cycle counts on the batteries.
* Remember, these filters will always be the default when clicking the views, if you want to change what the view defaults to then you have to come to the Manage Views page to change them.
